I check my phone. There's already a calendar invite from Cheryl, with a Zoom link and a block of time labeled "Inferthermic Onboarding." No one has ever scheduled me for anything that sounded this much like a real job. "This is wild," I say. "We should email Elad."
Jian is already typing a draft. "Make it tight. Do not sound desperate."
I watch as the text appears on the screen:

Just got confirmation from Cencora's VP Systems. They're going live with our endpoints for the entire enterprise. We're flying out next week for onboarding. This is our first Fortune 500.
